About Camp-a-l.o.t.t.
We provide children ages 7 through 12 years the opportunity to further their skills in researching; a skill that is necessary in gaining knowledge that will eventually aid in their ability to make decisions.
We provide rigorous sports activities that provide an excellent balance for each day. We believe that physical activity is necessary to keep children active and healthy. We offer organized basketball and soccer.
Children attend themed weeks and will work with leaders to put together what they learn in each of these weeks. Campers have the opportunity to share their research with parents as part of the exercise. Examples of theme weeks: community leaders, prominent world leaders, etc.
As part of our program, we have presentations and guest speakers on safe internet usage, bullying, first aid, Police, Fire departments and St. Johns Ambulance. These community leaders will not only speak about what they do, but share with children, how their career came about.
